Senator Clay Scofield

Alabama State Senate

Clay Scofield is a third generation poultry farmer and a life-long resident of Senate District 9, which includes parts of Marshall, Madison and Blount counties. The owner of Clay Scofield Farms, he is the former chairman of the Blount County Young Farmer’s Committee and is a member of the Blount County-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce and Arab Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of Grassy Church of Christ. Clay graduated from Arab High School and Auburn University, and has a B.S. in Agricultural Business and Economics. When Clay isn’t hard at work in Montgomery or on his farm, he enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities, and spending time with his family.
